How Many Owners are there per Boat?
This year we have a twenty-six owner boat (2 week ownership per year -- 1 week prime/1 week off season). The twenty-six owner boats are very affordable with the one time LLC Membership fee ranging from $5,950 to $25,995. A luxury 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 75 foot yacht on Lake Powell will pay for itself in rental savings in 2 - 4 years not to mention you can sell your membership at any time. [top]

When does the Season Start and End?
Our first official week of ownership begins at the end of April/beginning of May and ends in late October. As an owner you do however have access to your boat in your off season week as well as on a first come first serve basis if the owner of that specific off-season week does not want to use the boat during that week. [top]

How can it be less Than Renting a Houseboat?
If you were to add up the cost of $7,800.00 per week rental charges for a 72 foot rental boat in prime season and compare it to the purchase price of one of our memberships it is easy to see the savings after 3-4 years. Our shared ownership program is for friends, families and corporations who want to experience a 5-star quality vacation for years to come. You can also take into consideration the re-sale value if and when you are ready to sell. A houseboat may also be considered a second home, which could also result in tax savings. [top]

How is the Houseboat Managed?
A limited liability company (LLC) is set up for all of the owners of each boat. This years LLC is titled "Beats Working, LLC". Clearwater Yachts of Eagle, Idaho will manage the LLC with input from all owners helping to make any decisions affecting your boat. You as the LLC members have voting rights and will make all decisions. Clearwater Yachts will manage the logistics and details. An annual meeting will be held to elect officers and review the boat's current status discussing thing that we may want to add or change. A comprehensive maintenance program has been set up with Unlimited Houseboat Services in Page, Arizona to ensure the highest quality care and service of your houseboat. [top]

What Makes this Houseboat so Special?
It has been designed to help owners enjoy a lot more of the lake with a lot less effort. We professionally clean your houseboat before each trip. Our team at UHS VIP service will also fill the boat with gas, change the oil, water and pump the holding tanks, preparing everything for your relaxing vacation. How Does it Let us Escape the Crowds?
The houseboat is equipped with a full 25 cu. Ft. home style side by side refrigerator, a large freezer, 500 gallons of fuel, 400 gallons of fresh water, and 300 gallons of black water. With your cell phone and the boat's marine radio, you're never far from Aquanuts, our VIP service. If you have always wanted to explore the San Juans, Hite or Escalante area, these boats are the ticket. [top]

What About Maintenance Fees?
Our 26 owner houseboats will average $2,500 per year in maintenance fees which includes the launch and retrieve as well as the service to gas, water, and drain sewage, insurance, annual winter storage as well as a fund for annual or unexpected repairs or additions. These cost are offset by savings of up to $800.00 at the fuel pump because our boats are refueled with the lower land gas prices vs. the high gas cost at the Marina's. [top]

Can More than one Owner go in Together on the Purchase of a Week ?
Yes. We allow up to three owners to split the purchase price. All three names will appear as members of the LLC but the billing will be through only one person who will represent the other two owners. [top]

How do I Purchase a Membership in the LLC (Limited Liability Company)?
Most call us and ask a bunch of questions, which we will gladly answer. Some actually visit the boat in Page, Arizona, some call up our existing owners and ask for a reference, while many others simply compare our program to the others out there and reach the conclusion that we have the best boats and managed program out there for the money and then give us the deposit ($5,000) for a membership. The Life's too Short LLC (Limited Liability Company), Beats Working, LLC, and Just Because, LLC has already been established. You are buying a membership to this LLC and thus have access to the boat during your ownership week(s) provided you follow and abide by the Rules and Regulations for the boat and LLC. [top]
